1. Introduction

QuickStat ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our basketball statistics tracking mobile application (the "App").

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

• Account Information: Email address (when you create an account)
• Authentication Data: Login credentials and authentication tokens
• Third-Party Login Data: Display name and profile information from Google, Apple, or Facebook when you sign in using these services

2.2 Basketball Data

• Team Information: Team names, player rosters, jersey numbers
• Player Information: Player names, statistics, performance data
• Game Data: Game scores, game dates, competition details
• Statistical Data: Play-by-play statistics, performance metrics, game analytics
• Season Information: Seasons and competitions data

2.3 Technical Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version
• Server Log Data: Our backend provider (Supabase) automatically records standard server logs, such as IP address, request timestamps and error information, when the App communicates with our servers

As of the date of this policy, the App does not include third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs, and we do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

2.4 Subscription and Purchase Information

QuickStat offers auto-renewable subscriptions. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate these subscriptions.

• Account Identifier: Your account identifier (a randomly generated UUID) is shared with RevenueCat so that purchases can be linked to your account
• Subscription Data: Depending on the platform and the purchase, this may include subscription status, product identifier, platform (iOS or Android), store transaction identifier, purchase token, store receipt data, trial and billing period dates, and subscription history

Payments: All payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). We never receive or store your payment card details.

2.5 Information About Other People (Players)

The App allows coaches to record information about players who are not themselves users of the App, including player names, jersey numbers and performance data. Some of these players may be minors.

• Who is responsible: The coach or organization entering this information is the data controller for it, and is responsible for having a lawful basis for the processing and for obtaining any consent required (for example, from a parent or legal guardian) before entering it into the App
• Our role: We act as a processor for this information and use it only to provide the App to the organization that entered it
• Children: The App is intended for use by coaches and other adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and children do not create accounts in the App

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• Track and analyze basketball statistics
• Generate reports and analytics
• Authenticate users and manage accounts
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

4.2 Limited Sharing

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted third-party services (Supabase, Google, Apple, Facebook, RevenueCat) that help us operate the App
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

4.3 Sharing Within Your Organization

QuickStat is a multi-tenant application: each user belongs to an organization, and every member of an organization has a role (admin, power coach or coach).

• Shared Data: Data entered within an organization (teams, players, games and statistics) is visible to other members of that organization, according to their role and the team access assigned to them
• Invitations: When an admin invites someone to join the organization, that person's email address is stored in the organization's invitation records and may be visible to administrators of that organization
• Billing Contact: An organization may also store a billing email address

4.4 Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database service.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• Secure Storage: Data is stored using Supabase's enterprise-grade security infrastructure
• Access Controls: Data access is restricted to authorized personnel only
• Regular Updates: We regularly update our app to maintain security

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as:

• Your account is active
• We need it to provide services
• Required by law
• You can request deletion at any time

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate information
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data or delete your account directly in the app
• Portability: Request a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic format by contacting us at the address in section 11
• Withdraw Consent: Stop using the App and request data deletion

7.1 Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time directly from the app. This feature is provided in compliance with App Store requirements.

How to delete your account:

1. Open the QuickStat app and log in to your account
2. Navigate to the Management tab at the bottom of the screen
3. Scroll down to find the "Delete Account" button
4. Tap the button and confirm your decision

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What happens to your data depends on your organization:

• If you are the only member of your organization: deleting your account also deletes the organization and all of its data, including all teams, players, plays, seasons, games, and statistics and analytics
• If your organization has other members: deleting your account removes your user account and your membership in the organization. The organization's shared data (teams, players, games and statistics) remains, because it belongs to the organization and remains available to its other members

Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Because subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, you need to cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings to stop future billing.

After deletion, residual copies may remain in our provider's routine backups for a limited period before they are overwritten, and we may retain limited records where we are required to do so by law (for example, records relating to purchases).

8. Third-Party Services

Our App integrates with:

• Supabase: Database and authentication services
• Google: Authentication and sign-in services
• Apple: Authentication and sign-in services (iOS)
• Facebook: Authentication and sign-in services
• RevenueCat: Subscription management provider (handling and validation of auto-renewable subscriptions)
• Apple App Store / Google Play: Payment processors for subscriptions
• Expo: App development and deployment platform

These services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date on this page
• Posting the updated policy on our website
